I got the permanent residency and the visa issued on my passport was about to expire on May 30, 2022.
I live near the Winsor US-Canada border so I did the landing and return back to the USA again after the Canada Customs immigration office.
I have already told the CBSA officer that I am just doing the landing and after that, I will return to the USA.
He did not ask for any goods that I am bringing nor any other documents. I assumed that he will ask for an address to send my PR card but he said right now we do not need anything. He said when you plan to completely move into Canada with all your belonging and goods then we will need the address and some forms. Right now you are just doing the landing, he took one of the forms that came to me with my passport visa stamp and gave me the other one and said now you can travel into and out of Canada on this paper.
I want to make sure I did all the things correctly? Is there anyone else who experiences the same thing?
