I changed my passport after getting a new study permit and I don't know what to do now

I had to extend my study permit as I was starting my post secondary studies, after that I changed my passport now my study permit has my old passport number and my Visa is only valid for 2 more months on my old passport. If anyone knows what I have to do please help me out here.

There is no problem, just apply for new TRV if you need to travel and carry both passports.

Remember TRV is only needed to re-enter Canada it doesnt have to be valid to be in the country. There is no extension of TRV you just apply for new one.
