Hello Everyone,

I sponsored my family on 2011, mom, dad, and my sister who was 18 years then. Now I have received and letter, 2014 asking my dad fill out the applications and provide documents.
My sister was student by that time and she is still an student of university. There is 7 months gap between her college and university. she was waiting for the result and it took 7 months to start her university.
I have a question regarding , if this 7 months gap effect her application? how can I explain this gap?

If she was 18 at time of application, then she is a Type A dependent based just on her age. So it doesn't matter her school status, as being in school is not a requirement at all for Type A dependents.

The only requirement is she cannot become married or common-law before landing as PR.
