I am on a closed work permit and my company is closing soon

Hi, This September my company is going to get closed and take over by another company. I am on a closed work permit. This Oct my 1-year experience supposed to get completed. Then I had a chance to apply for a Canadian Experience class.

But My company will no longer exist after September, So what options do I have to get PR. Is there a way I can convert my closed work permit to open If my employer is also willing to do so?

No, you can't "convert" a closed work permit to an "open" via an employer.
If you are no longer an employee of the company named on your work permit, I think that you are not able to work.

Unfortunately the timing is very bad for you but there is never any guarantees with a closed work permit. CEC won’t be an option with this job. You’d have to look at other immigration programs or try and get another closed work permit.
