I received an email for my spousal sponsorship from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca stating

This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2023/02/25 on behalf of the following member(s):

There was no pdf and it had an application number and a UCI. would this be considered my AOR?

Since it confirms that your application has been received...and includes a file number and UCI number that was created for you...I'd say it is AOR.
