I came to Canada on july-10th, 2009, i will be completing two years by this july.

(i am on work permit, i come under Software Engineers and Designers - NOC 2173-A)

In between, I worked from India for two months (aug-2010, sept-2010), during this time i get paid in Indian rupees...so no CAD pay slips for these two months.

my question is. am i eligible to apply for PR in July? or do i have to wait for two more moths to compensate the gaps?

Based on what you said, you were not working in India on behalf of a Canadian employer.

So, NO, those 2 months cannot be considered "Canadian Experience" and you have to complete a full 2 years of Canadian Experience before you are eligible - you have 3 years to do this. So, yes, you have to work at least 2 more months before you can apply.

Hey Jes_ON, thanks for the replay..

I am bit confused When u say "Canadian Employer" because belonged to India employer.

this is my situation..

i am from "ABC" company which is based in India. "XYZ" here in Canada is the client of "ABC" company.. i work at client location (i.e "XYZ"), but "ABC" is my employer (even my work permit says that) and "ABC" pays me in Canadian $'s.

Q1: is this a valid case for applying PR under CEC after two months?

Those two months, I worked from india for "XYZ" but, since i worked from India "ABC" paid me in Indian ruppes.

Q2: so, now do i still have to work for two more months?

Thanks in advance.

In that case - Darn good question and I don't know if anyone would be able to answer it. I suggest you work those 2 extra months just to be on the safe side.

Yes you do. Your employer, ABC, is/was based in India.

That may be a good idea in any case, since, as prof456 noted, there may be eligibility questions with your employer in India...
