I am graduated as Mech Eng but had 14 years of exp in Information Technology

Hi everyone on this forum

I want to migrate t CANADA with my family
I have been graduated from IIT Delhi INDIA as Mechanical Engineer
But my Work experience is from IT Industry
I have worked for last 14 years in Information Technology.
I have been working with Infosys.
Currently i am working as Senior IT consultant

Can i apply for Skilled worker visa to permanently immigrate to CANADA.
My qualification and experience does not match.
pls help

The fact that your education and experience aren't in the same domain is not a problem. What's important is to check if you qualify for any of the programs under Express Entry.

If you are eligible for one or more programs, you have to then check your CRS score to see how you fare against other applicants in the pool.

If you have a 400+ score, you can try applying for a nomination from one of the provinces. If you have a 460+ score, you should be able to get a 'regular' ITA in the near future.
