Hi all! I appreciate all feedback!!!
My husband is from the Dominican Republic. We have solid proof of our relationship of almost 3 years. We have a daughter together that was born in Dec 2012. We were married April 2013. I just received my "option C" printout. It shows that I received income assistance payment of apprx $1000. It was received the first month of January 2012, and I have been employed ever since. Will this effect my sponsor eligibility?

If you're not on IA anymore, and have now a way to support yourself and your family, it should be fine. However, because you have had IA before, you might want to put a little more effort into proving that you have now a more stable situation (show savings, if you have a place to stay with family, get a letter from them, if your partner has transferable skills once he gets to Canada, include that information, etc. ) - just make sure that it is clear to CIC that you won't need IA again, and the sponsorship should be OK.
Good luck,
Sweden
