Hello there,

I am in trouble within my common law partner permit for now. I am working as a live in caregiver. Unfortunately i didnt know i am a pregnant when i got my work permit here. My employer is happy about it. But i cant work at least 5 month in the future. My common law partner is still international student in canada. So if i am not working, we dont have any income till i am okay to work. So, i am trying to find that my common law partner can apply work permit. Can he is possible to apply to work permit?

No - your common law partner does not qualify for a work permit through your work permit. He would only qualify if your job was skill level A, B or 0 (which it isn't). If he wants to convert his study permit to a work permit, he needs to find an employer willing to offer him a full time job and who is also able to obtain an approved LMIA.
