I’m waiting for my post-graduation work permit (I did apply online). Can I apply for my parent's visit visa to attend my graduation?

I'm concerned about my visa status (As I’m waiting for my post-graduation work permit) and whether it will affect the decision on my parents' visa approval.

Your parents are applying for a TRV, not you. Their approval has nothing to do with your PGWP.
