Husband got deported and banned for life - any insight PMM?

Hi,

My husband has been removed from canada last month and banned from life. Now we've been married since 2005 but I couldn't sponsor him at the time because of his criminal records (fail to appear in front of judge). I've put in a request for pardon since more than 3 years has passed and he's now eligible for pardon.

what are the chances of him getting ministerial permission if I sponsor him under family class?

Does he only have the one conviction? If he is granted the pardon and is not criminally ineligible for any other convictions, you should be able to sponsor him without a problem assuming there is nothing else of issue to be concerned about.

The immigration of Canada is different with the immigration of USA. You can still apply him unless the reason of his previous deportation issue is not really with crime. Just try and keep praying.

Not quite, as he was deported, he will still require approval of the Minister (ARC) to return to Canada even with the sponsorship.
