Hi All,

I am MEERA, I recently got married in january. My husband is a pharmacist graduate here to finish his further studies in India. He is a naturalised Canadian citizen from past 16 years. We had been preparing a spouse / dependent visa documentation for myself . But somehow my husbands education is getting over 2018, May. I wanted to move back along with him. But some how the situation is My dependent visa filling will take almost a year or 2 if placed from India at the moment and almost 6 months if placed from Canada.

Can anyone guide me if my father in law can sponsor me for visiting visa for my husband being a Canadian citizen in india. Or any other way in which we can make the spouse visa more speedy ?

Hi

Why are you not just applying outland now? There is no way to speed up the process.

And does Outland sponsorship has anything to do with my husbands financial status, cause he ain't earning ?

But do you know how long does Outland sponsorship take ?

It will probably take about a year. However, at this point, you don't really have any other option. You can apply for a TRV but with a Canadian spouse, your chances of approval are low.

If you are approved for a TRV, you wouldn't be able to apply inland until both you and your husband are in Canada and it would be another year, at least, after that before the app would be approved.

He doesn't need to be working. You guys need to show that you can support yourselves in Canada without welfare. You can show yur income, savings, family assistance etc. He will also need to show proof that he intends ti return to Canada.
