My wife and I landed four years ago today. I know that it's stated that families should apply together, however would there be any advantage or problem for her to apply before me?

She has been out of Canada only 21 days since we landed, and is from the Philippines.

I have been out of Canada 72 days so far, with another 8-10 days scheduled (work related most of them) before I can apply. I'm from the US.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have the same case; we landed 4 years ago and I travel frequently for work. My wife will be qualified on Aug & I'll qualify on October, but we've decided to apply together.

no harm in applying separately, if one gets delayed or stuck, the other can proceed faster and become citizen faster.
Applying together will mean both applications held up if one gets delayed

Thanks for the input. She decided to wait and we'll apply together.
