Hungary citizen visiting Canada on Hungary passport

A friend of mine plans on flying to Montreal in September 2016. She has lived in the UK for 5+ years but is not a UK citizen.

I checked http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas-all.asp#visa and Hungary is not on the list of countries which need a visa to visit, so am I right in thinking my friend will only need to apply for an ETA and that is all?

Hungary is a visa exempt country and although ETA is not mandatory until end September 2016 no harm in applying as only costs 7 dollars for 5 years. Plus airlines can be unpredictable on requirements especially as some still say on their websites mandatory now and not end September
