I sent them my all police certificates,
Sent September 2019, they sent email me last week saying we start processing your application, on as soon as possible bases.

Normally how long they take on background checks?

Every case is different and nobody can give you a reliable, or useful, guess. H&C applications generally take much longer anyway, and have a much lower approval rate.
