How would i know if medical examination has been received?

My ecas isn't updated. It's a month already since my aip and owp were received. I did medical examination too and the doctor Even phoned me to tell me she uploaded the results and sent to cic.

I phoned the call centre and these people doesn't know anything about my file to the point that the agent asked me what i knew about my file!? I told him you should be the one telling me that not me. Oh my goodness! That's what i'm going to say.

Should i order gmcs notes?

I had some issues with them finding my medical and matching it up with my file. What i ended up doing was emailing the VO the date of my medical, the doctor's name and where i took it. They updated e-cas about a week later with medical results received. I would start by doing that, although it wouldn't hurt to also order the notes.

Thank you for your response! :)

I sent a fax to the immigration officer this morning, i sent her the receipts of my medical examination and the letter i sent her last Oct.17. This letter was a requirement asking for the updated address, guardian's name of my son and email address. I told her that i don't know if she received it already since ecas isn't updated yet.

So i think i just need to wait and i'll probably order the notes.

Thank you! :)

I might sound supid but does "medical recieved" on ecas indicate only medical received or does it also mean medical has been passed? Thanks

I believe is has already been passed since the doctor should be the one calling you if there is any problem.
Other than that, submitting it to the embassy, I would say, means that everything is clear.

Thanks for replying my post Iay. My ecase status says medical received and when i went for my medicals the doctor said that he will call me if there is any problem within a week. He never called so i am assuming everything is fine from his side. But i remember reDing somewhere that the doctors from cic will assess the medical reports and then decide. Since some people dont have medicL recieved on their ecas even after submitting it....i just happend to wonder. Hope whT you said is right :)
