I read on this link that starting from 2019, the PGP immigration application will be processed on "first come first served" basis.
how is it going to affect applicants who will be planning to apply for parents' sponsorship a couple of years later?
For example, let's say 100000 applicants are applying in 2019. Out of which 20000 applications are selected.
Lest say in 2020 more 50000 applications arrives. In this case, will remaining 80000 applicants of 2019 will be given preference over new 50000 applicants? If yes then does this mean that people applying few years later, will possibly never get chance as there will be always backlog of earlier years will be pending because I belive that number of new applications will be always higher than the number of applications accepted each year.
Also is there any place where I can see historic trends of PGP sponsorship applications and acceptance numbers?
