Hi all.

I am filling out the Schedule A / Background Declaration form, and have just arrived at question 8, Personal History. My most recent activity on the first line will be my employment, but as I am still employed, I don't know what to put in the "TO" date box. "FROM" is when I started my current job, but what can I put in the "TO" box? Do I just put today's date, or an estimated future date of when I will leave? I can't type the word "PRESENT", which is somewhat frustrating.

Any help would be great appreciated.

Thanks.

Use the date that you complete the form.

I, and others, printed out the form and wrote in PRESENT with a pen.

We did the same. Hand wrote in present. The form doesn't need to be validated, so no problems doing this.

Great, thanks for that advice. I would certainly prefer writing "PRESENT" than typing an estimated future date. Does it matter if the entire form is typed, but this one date is hand written?

What about dates on the main application form that requires validating? What do you type in the "TO" boxes if it needs to "PRESENT"? I tried to leave these boxes blank, but I had to enter something in order to validate.

Easier to fill out and print, and then write PRESENT.

For forms of validation, I believe I wrote in the current date for validation.

thanks for your help :)
