Spread the information in a manner so that you can fill out the form.
Include the house number in a different line or something.
This information should appear to be the same as in your personal history, passport, and other supporting documents.
Their order or arrangement can be different to work with the format of the forms.

my concern is that if the address is misunderstood they may deliver my passport to the wrong address

Why would they deliver your passport to the address?
You take your passport to the VAC (once you get the PPR) and receive the passport back from VAC to the address you give to the VAC.
The address in PR application is for CIC to run security & background checks.
CIC will never send any physical correspondence to any of your addresses.
The whole idea of EE is based on a 'paperless' system and all correspondences are electronic through your myCIC account linked to your designated email address.

Hope this clarifies all confusion!
