How to withdraw sponsorship application

I sponsored my parents and finally got letter that their application has been sent to London office and they also required medical. Now due to some family issues my parents are not able to immigrate to Canada permanently and I wish to withdrew their sponsorship.

Is there any form or procedure to withdraw application at this stage when final decision has been made or should I write them.

Any advice would be appreciated.
