Hi, I've received an email saying "The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete" and asking for a copy of my passport and a copy of the email to be uploaded to myCIC. My issue is I can see no way of doing this. I linked my application months ago and have been tracking the status on the myCIC dashboard; but when I hit the "view submitted application" button I see a message saying "there are no required documents for this online application". I can't see functionality anywhere on myCIC to upload documents.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you get around it?

thanks. Andrew.

My spouse is sponsoring me for permanent residency. Can you elaborate on where these links are to upload documents? I can see nothing.

Upload your passport copy by Case Specific Enquiry Web form. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx?_ga=1.128467982.306486081.1484843682

I believe the MyCIC only works when they've asked for the request on MyCIC.

Log into your account at https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/mycic/home

Once you log in it take you to the main screen, you should be able to see your name (for example Raja Mohan’s Account) and you will be seeing the following

My information

What would you like to do today? Under this item, look for “View my submitted applications or profiles”.

Under View my submitted applications or profiles section, on its right-hand side, you will have a “Check status and messages” button.

Once you click Check status and message button. It takes you to a new screen “Application/profile details”. At the bottom of this page, you have “View submitted application” button.

Once you click View submitted application button. It takes you to a new screen “Documents submitted by the client”

This screen has a table and link that should be used to upload the requested document. You would see a link made available only if it was requested by the CIC officer. As “simpsol22” mentioned I agree with him, we have gone through that situation.

there could be many reasons for not haveing the Link to upload the documents

Sometimes if you have linked you myCIC to your account once the information was requested by normal processes, or at this time that document is not required by Visa officer yet. in that case, you do not see the link.

you should not take a chance, therefore you could upload the documents by going to "IRCC Web form" at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

hope i have answered your question

It should let you view/upload documents required. Make sure after you upload it you hit "Next" and e-sign the webform. You'll see an updated status of "Provided" after you provided your documents. At first I uploaded the requested document but didn't realize I had to actually hit next and e-sign for it to register, so don't make the same mistake!

Thanks both responders. There is no functionality to upload documents on the "documents submitted by the client" screen that is presented to me, so I've uploaded using the IRCC webform.

I am passing the same situation, i have received an email to submit police certificate, so I have linked my account and didn't see the upload button yet so I sent them by webform since 3 weeks and still no updates.

Could you share your experience?
Thanks

Just an idea, but if you are using a representative it will not let you do this I don't think

Hi
I am in the same boat. I need to submit my police certificate as well but its not letting me upload thru the online account. I was thinking about submitting it through the IRCC webform but Im concerned after reading your post. Can you please tell me if you got a response? I do realize your post is over a year old but I would really appreciate your feedback.
