How to Transfer Immigration File from Islamabad to London?

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum, hope seniors will guide me on the following issue.

I have applied for Canadian Immigration in Apr 2004 (almost 5 years ago); the Online status of my application says ("In Process").
In 2007 I came to UK for a higher studies degree (about to complete sometimes end of 2010). I already have sent a written request for change of my Postal address (which have been changed now). I wonder how to request to CIC Islamabad to shift my file to London Office? Either it is a good idea to shift file here or not? I also haven't updated the CIC about my son (who borned 8 months ago)? What you friends suggest for trasfering my file; for updating my son's information. How much time should I wait for my turn to come? Does this matters to CIC that I'm currently a student in UK?

1. You have to update your application and request that Isbad transfer it to London. Although there is no guarantee that they will. If you have "student" status in the UK it is unlikely that they will transfer.
