How to submit PCC after recieving AOR

Hello Friends,

I have submitted application for PR for myself & my spouse. During the submission of application, I was not able to submit Indian PCC as I haven't recieved it at that time. I have given an explanation letter along with my application.

I have recieved AOR with application number and was informed that the documents are complete and sent to London Visa office.

I have now recieved my original Indian PCC, could someone please guide to which address should I send my PCC for my application. Also what should I mention in the covering letter along with PCC ?. It would be great, if someone can provide me some standard text in the covering letter.

Are you a CEC applicant?

All CEC applications are processed in Ottawa so you should send your Pcc to that office.
No standard text needed, just include your file nUmber, uci, date of birth and full name and that you would like your Pcc added to your file.

Yes I am CEC applicant but applied outside canada. I have applied from UK and mentioned LONDON VISA office in my application. Initially I have sent my documents through post from UK to Ottawa office. As mentioned in my AOR mail, the file has been moved to London Visa office, I was wondering should I should send the PCC to ottawa office or London Office. I am currently in UK, I dont want to take chance as these are original PCC.

Does the aor specifically say that the visa office is London? Or does it say that your application has been sent to the visa office for processing (ie it doesn't specifically mention London).

This is what mentioned in AOR

Upon review of the information you have provided, your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).

Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.

Any future correspondence should be sent to the visa office as indicated on your application.

Ok now I understand

CEC is only processed in Ottawa - it doesn't matter what you put on you application form.
You need to send Pcc to Ottawa

I have sent my original PCC with an explanation Letter and all the required details. I have recieved an acknowledgement from canada post on 8th Jan 2014. But I have not recieved any updated from CIC.

1. Does CIC acknowledges these updates ?
2. To whom & how should be I contact CIC to know about this update ?
