I’m trying to get my fiancée a visitor visa so she can visit me in Canada. We received an email telling her to submit her passport and the letter from IRCC.
The visa office where we need to submit these says something different. It says to submit passport, two copies of biometrics page, the letter and perhaps some processing fee paperwork.

Confused, I called the Guatemala office but was routed I think to some central call Center in Canada. The agent told me I cannot send her to the office due to the pandemic even though she was there less than a month ago for biometrics. They said I must mail the passport even though the Guatemalan VAC site says we can deliver it in person. I told her mail service in Guatemala is extremely risky as stuff is stolen or never arrives. Then I asked her how to pay for processing and she said do bank transfer and send receipt. But then I checked VFS (TTS Services) website which is the VAC here in Guate and it says do not send bank transfers. We must go to the bank with cash and have it put into an account. But then the site doesn’t say how much money to deposit.
My thought is that the central visa call Center I was routed to has no clue what is going on in Guatemala.

i can’t get in touch with anyone in Guatemala. I want to just send her over there with the passport and letter and have it dropped off. The site says they will issue her a receipt so she can go back and get her passport. If they refuse to take it,
maybe we can use a private courier like GuatEx.

anyone know what to do? How do get the passport to the visa Center?
