Team,

Hope somebody can help me out on my questions!

I Live in USA and i do have Canada Permanent Resident Card(Only me, Not my Spouse and Kid), and i am willing to go back to Canada, is there any way to get my Family Along with as i have PR Card? Ideally, what kind of Visa they may need to accompany me ??

1. I know Sponsoring for Permanent Resident would take more time approx 12months.

What would be an other options to bring my Family as soon i move to Canada??

Thanks in Advance,
Joseph

As a PR, you have to living in Canada first before you can apply to sponsor your family. Your spouse could then apply for a work permit to come to Canada while you wait for a decision, and I believe the kids simply come along as dependants assuming they're under 22. However, that's not guaranteed.

Thank you !! So ideally I have to be inside canada to sponsor for PR or apply work permit for my dependents!!

Not ideally. As a PR, you must be living in Canada in order to sponsor your spouse for PR. PRs cannot sponsor their spouse while outside of Canada. If you want your spouse to qualify for an open work permit, both of you must be in Canada.

If you want your family to come with you to Canada immediately, they will need either TRVs or eTAs (depending on what passports they hold).
