How to Sponsor a dependant after getting pr card as a caregiver help !!!!!!!!!!

I EVERYONE, I SPONSOR MY hubby when i was on the live in caregiver program me. but his son is my step son . i put him on my application as a non accompany dependant , now i am ready for him to join us in Canada i don't know what to do. is there anybody out there has been in this situation? do i do family sponsorship? or just update the generic , declaration form and family background form??????????

Your own PR file is now closed, so your husband must now sponsor his son using a brand new family application form. As long as the son was medically examined, as is as of today still aged 18 or under, he can be sponsored.

Yes, there is no minimum amount of time. He could have sponsored after 1 day of being a PR if he wanted to.
