how to show fund?

Hi all,

is it possible to show bank statement when landing? or should i come with cash or certified check?
i am moving from Sweden, and i have bank card which works in Canada too. I will stay there for few weeks too,

Hi 7411,
I showed my bank statements and the IO was fine with it. She accepted it without any hesitation
However, seniors can confirm.

Did you also tell them the amount of money you have in cash? u think there is minimum requirements?

I came from US and I am Indian origin, luckitly they didn't asked for any proof of Funds.

Yes I did tell them how much I had in cash. However, you are only required to reveal the cash amount if it is in excess of $10K.
The min requirements are only based on what CIC specifies:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

You can show this in cash or bank acc.
