How to ship a car from gulf

Any reason why you would want to do this unless a classic car ?

I thought it might be cheaper but after some reading it seems to be a very hard and useless idea

It is certainly not cheaper especially after you take into account freight costs.
Any idea for requirements of purchasing a new or used car on installment plan for new comers?
You can't. Unless it's a classic car, Canada only allows overseas shipments from the US

Most dealership usually have some type of car loan program but rates can be high for bad/no credit. If I was in your shoes I would buy a cheap used car within my budget cash, just enough to get around. This is what I did. Plenty of deals on autotrader.ca
I checked online before and noticed that most cheap cars are in the 120,000 kms plus range which might need a lot of maintenance issues but i guess thats the best route to take
If you don't want to worry about maintenance issues, then be prepared to pay for a newer and more reliable car.

It really depends. My first car was a Japanese SUV that had close to 150,000Km and after using it for a year I never had to take it to repairs or maintenance, only the regular trip to Mr Lube for oil change, and replacing small items such as air cabin filter which is cheap.
Well, I had my little Acura Integra since new and ran till it was at 350,000 km and it was still going good. I sold it to a mechanic at the end because I couldn't stand the black on black with no air conditioning any more after 10 years. The only major fix-up was a gear-box rebuilt and I lucked out for less than 1K for the repair.
Not saying old cars are bad but good ones are hard to come by cheap.
You understand you car in the gulf was built as per gulf specs right ?
Summers are okay, but do you think it will survive the brutal cold in Canada ? And on top the corrosion caused because of salting on the roads during winter...
Think again mate it’s not worth...
