How to prove work Experience?

I am planning to apply for Express entry under the Skilled Worker category. How will I be asked to prove work experience? I was mostly paid by checks.

Get a work reference from your employer where they state how much they pay for, for how long you worked with them and that you were paid by checks. Attach this to your employment letter and your personal bank account statement evidencing where you were cashing the checks.

Thank you for your reply. I had multiple jobs, so I have a couple of checks being deposited. How do they cross check if it was full time or part time. I was on a contract and there was a gap where I was working part time, and other was full time.

The employment/contract letters and the reference letters will show the duration that you worked for each employer. If necessary, the Visa Office will conduct background checks to verify. For the period you were not employed, indicate so in your application.
