Hi,

I have my uncle (mother's bro) in Canada with PR. I got a chance to go through the application he has submited. In that he has mentioned his family name wrong (He has actually put his name as the family name) and also in his application my mothers name is given incorrectly (He has suffixed my mother's name with my father's). But my mother does not have my father's name any where (pass port or any thing).

Now I am worried how to prove the relationship. If the visa officers go through these applications they would find some kind of mis-matches.
But I believe ( I have to check) that my mother and the uncle have their birth certificates where their father's name is correctly written.
Is it possible to produce the English translations of their Birth certificates to prove the relationship.

Further mode, What are the documents that I need to produce the relationship and my uncle's PR status in Canada ?

thanks

You need your mother birth certificate and her brothers, to show the same parents.

Does it mean as long as the Birth Certificates show the same parent, it's all right though my uncle had done some mistakes when filling his own (I have stated this before )

Do I have to sumbit only the translated copies of their BC's (They are written in our native language).
Do I need to submit the original one's as well. I am asking this because, If were to submit the original ones I need to apply to the local authorities in advance.

please respond.
thanks

whaterver it is, you need Birth certificate to prove relationship, birth certificate should be in English or French and authorised by Notry.
you need to submit copy of all birth certificates.

Same Problem like mine

My Dad's name is same in his all papers, His Birth cert, His Marriage certs, his edu certs.
But Our High School Teacher wronly added someone before his name that is written in all my edu certs and in my passports.

My Mom's Original name is HSM which is in her Marriage and Educ erts, but in her passport and in my Sister's Birth cert, its written as SMA- the last part is my dad's last name. lol

But all the experts and the legal gurus said that me and my sis need to make an affidavit of these mistakes and state the real names and say that they all are the same persons.

SIMPLE !
