HOW TO OBTAIN TRANSCRIPT FROM CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY ................

Documents Required: scans of all the mark-sheets, degree certificate, registration certificate, any document containing the date of first admission to college (college leaving certificate/college-id/fee receipt etc.).

1. Whether do we have any online facility to get the transcripts from the University of Calcutta since I am not currently staying in India?
2. I couldn't collect my graduation certification however I do have both Part 1 & 2 marksheets. Is it good enough or do I need to get hold of the certificate as well. If yes, then what is the process to get the same?

I am also looking for the same info, since long, but have not applied for that. We do not need the transcript right away (need by end of 2021), so at this time we have been collecting information only. Here are the summary of info that I have managed to gathered.

2. By yourself through post: One of the forum member, @Rajani3 has done it, you can find detail in her thread (click here), process is download and fill application form, call CU to get detail about paying fees, pay fee and post your application with a proof of fee payment
3. Use a third partyagency: You can use a third party agency like mailtranscripts and get their help. Note that they do charge a hefty amount and I am not aware of their service and quality of work done. Please note that I am not endorsing any person or agency neither I have used their services or known them personally.

Has anyone tried paying transcript fee online to Calcutta University. I found one link from CU's website detailing the process of online payment to the university (https://www.caluniv.ac.in/admission...ure of Payment through State Bank Collect.pdf). Wondering if this is only for application fee or we can pay transcript fee with this process.

Hi, I have not yet applied for or received transcript from CU. However, as mentioned in my previous post there are several ways of applying for it (I am reposting below)

Only onlinetranscripts.org is the service provider of CALCUTTA university for transcripts

Have you applied for their service. Somehow I am not sure about their services. I asked them few questions, but they would not answer and replies are always vague... My question was mainly what is with "date of first admission". Their reply was like "first apply, pay and if they need any further processing or documents to get first date of admission, I need to pay more", which is kind of odd and red flag for me. Instead, I was expecting list of documents to prove/get first date of admission, such as stamp and date on the back of high school transcript.
