I am looking to obtain FBI PCC from Mumbai.
Can any one guide me the process of doing so? Generally how long does it take to get the FBI PCC. I suppose the time line is 3 months or lesser?
I know there are a couple of forms to be filled
1. I-783
2. FD-258 (Finger printing)
3. Credit Card Form for the 18 Dollar Fee
4. Checklist
5. Cover Letter (Do we require this?)
where can we get the finger printing done in Mumbai? The US Embassy websites states
Fingerprint Bureau
European Bunglow 2 nd Floor,
Opp. Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Marg Police Station
Crawford Market
Near Haj House, Mumbai – 400 001
which charges a fee of Rs. 500.
However, there are many agents who are also doing the same. But their fees are exorbitant (Rs. 4000-5000) for only finger printing and of they do the entire procedure for us, then Rs. 12,000
I happen to speak to an agent who said, they can get it done in 20 days for a fee of Rs. 18,000
Are we Indian Nationals eligible for getting Express FBI PCC or its only applicable to US Citizens / US PR Card Holders.
If anyone has availed the FBI PCC from Mumbai, please share your thoughts and the most ideal way of obtaining it.
