Studies : Global Business Management 1 year PG Certificate from Conestoga College May 2014 Intake
The program looks reasonable.
Finances: Getting 7.5 as Bank Loan
and 4 lakh as my savings+ 5 lakh my mother is giving me from her savings
How much is tuition? Could you provide amount of funds in Canadian Dollars?
2. What will be the Study permit duration if course start Date is May 05 2014 and end date is May 29 2015 and says 8 Month program.
3. PGWP will be issues for 8 months or for 12 months
8 months.
Do I some months after May 2015 to be on study permit until I get PGWP
It looks like not. If the duration is till August 31, 2015 then PGWP could be for 12 months.
Can I work for 1 year after I get 1 year PGWP and then enroll for another 1 year study if I have no option to extend work permit
PGWP is a ONE time opportunity. That means you will not get another one after your second program in Canada.
or I can only extend my work permit right after I complete 1 year of studies.
This will be difficult because as soon as your PGWP expired , to extend WP you will have to get LMO, and it is quite difficult.
However, you can apply for PR on PNP. In some provinces it is enough only to have a job offer for a permanent full time job and apply immediately , in other provinces you have to have that and can apply after have been working for 6 months. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-how.asp

Thank you so much I want to clarify

I can stay from May 2014 once I start college until May 2015 college finish date i.e 12 months on Study permit and then I get 8 more months i.e until January 2016 to be there on PGWP if I do not extend work permit or go for PNP.Right?
Why does it says 8 month course when it end date says May 2015 ? and if it ends on may 2015 that is after 12 months why do we get 8 month work permit? Just curious to know as consultants says we get 1 year work permit as programs ends after 12 months i.e from May 2014 to May 2015 and that is what offer latter says but it also says 8 months. Tricky

Please clarify if possible

What is the official intake for the program? You see in Canada you can take courses before the official start of program which USUALLY starts in September. You can study part-time (Canadians) and finish you 4 year program (for ex) with in 5 or 6 or even 8 years. But there are also programs that start in odd time like in February and go 6 months till the end of July.

So it does not matter much how long your study will be(May 05 2014 and end date is May 29 2015) but how long , officially, is the program ( "says 8 Month program". ).

Could you please give the link to your program web page? Than I will understand better about your program.

and this is what I copy from my offer letter:
Important Dates & Other Relevant Information:

May First Day of Classes: 2014-05-05
May End Date: 2015-04-29

I have also been told that I can enroll in different program through credit transfer in last semester in same college after I finish first program and that is how I get two program credentials (8 months for first and then 4-6 months for second program in last semester through lateral entry) but then I get 3 year PGWP. I want to understand is their a way after I finish first program I enroll in another program for 4-5 months and will be considered as 2 years or 16 months of studies to get 3 year PGWP?

From the program site
Start: September, November, January, and March

And at the same time
Length: One-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate program (also available part-time)
Delivery Sequence:
Doon (Kitchener) - September/2014 (Open) - Fall | Winter
Doon (Kitchener) - November/2014 (Open) - Fall | Winter
Doon (Kitchener) - January/2015 (Open) - Winter | Spring/Summer
Doon (Kitchener) - March/2015 (Open) - Winter | Spring/Summer
Doon (Kitchener) - May/2015 (Open) - Spring/Summer | Fall
Doon (Kitchener) - July/2015 (Open) - Spring/Summer | Fall

Also if they say : September/2014 (Open) - Fall | Winter- it means September 14- may 15 = 8 months
And everything like that : Winter | Spring/Summer = January 1 to August 31 = 8 months.

MAy be you May to May means SP from May to May but program itself is May to Dec? as here May/2015 (Open) - Spring/Summer | Fall = May to Dec 31? ::)
(8 months for first and then 4-6 months for second program in last semester through lateral entry
Not sure. I would think that the second program should be also for Certificate, not just "some courses".

Let's see maybe somebody else on the forum could comment.

They make it confusing and consultants are not ready to clarify I guess I need to speak to the college directly.
Thank you for your help.

If it is from May to December as it say's Springs/summer|Fall but offer says May to May IF i graduate in Dec 2014 will I be still on Study permit until May 2015 and then I apply for PGWP and will I be allowed to work full time from Dec to May as I will have completed my studies but on study permit and then when I get PGWP after May 2015 for 1 year or 8 months. I tried finding this out, No success. Can you find this from your information or resources on internet or withing students.

Thank you

will I be allowed to work full time from Dec to May as I will have completed my studies but on study permit and then when I get PGWP
You MUST NOT work after graduation till you get your PGWP. Besides any work off campus is not considered towards job experience for PR.
