Hi friends,

I received a visa in my passport and two CPR forms , one of them has my picture and the other one doesn't have, my question is this:

1) When I go to the US/Canada border for flag poling, which one do they take and which one do I need to keep?

2)After stamping, how do I get my PR card? Do I need to keep those CPR forms? What do I need to do after stamping them at the border?

3) After stamping the CPR what do I need to get my new SIN number?

Please help experts

Thanks

You need to cappy both. CBSA will keep the one with the photographs and return the other for your records.

During landing, they will ask you for your address. PR card is automatically sent to you there. No action on your side after landing.
3) After stamping the CPR what do I need to get my new SIN number?
Just need your CoPR to get your SIN number
Please help experts

Thanks

Thank you so much for the helpful information. I really appreciate it. One more thing, so they will attach the one with no picture to my passport and the they will keep the one with picture? Did I understand right? I thought we have to take the one with picture to service Canada for getting the new SIN...

Please correct me :)

Thanks again

Yes you understood it correctly. The one with the picture is going to be kept by the officer at the border and the one without the picture will be attached to your passport.

What nov1061 said above is correct. You will also need to take sort of personal identification (passport or driver license) for proof of identity along with your CoPR.

Also, Service Canada have been refusing to issue a SIN unless the COPR number is written under the Immigration stamp in the passport by the officer when you land. Make sure that this is done.
