How to get a work permit while applying for PR

Hello all

I was wondering if I am able to apply for an open work permit while already applying for PR via the spousal route (outbound)? Has anyone ever done this before? I am living in Ontario already and want to take some stress of the wife. Any help will be really gratefull

No, you can only apply for a work permit from outside Canada and on it's own merits. If your application was 'inland', you could get an OWP after Stage 1 approval.
