How to extend my Study permit

hey friends,

Currently , I am doing my master program in HALIFAX,NS Canada its two years degree program and i have two years visa + study permit whenever i finished my degree program on Sept,2013 my study permit also finish so what i need to do to extend my study permit because after that i want to apply for post graduation work permit.

Can you suggest me what i need to do to extend my study permit. (if yes, can i apply now or later)?

If you are enrolled in a program that is for two years, they will only give you a study visa for two years.
After all, it is a visa to study so they won't give you a study permit longer than the time you will be in school.

Before you graduate, you can apply for post graduate work permit. That's how I did it when I was a student in Halifax.

You simply need to apply PGWP within 90 days I believe after your permit expires... so no need to worry!
