Once quick question, I'm planing to move to canada on January, but im not sure how is the landing process after you got your visa (magical sticker).

I will be arriving by the airport, can i do the landing in there or do I have to go someplace else? if anyone can give me any advice regarding this process would be helpful.

Thanks.

hi luis4ever,

make sure your visa and confirmation of permanent residence are valid by the time you land in canada.
once you get to canada,at the airport you will be guided to go through the immigration and thats where your landing will be completed if everything is in order.
it could take as little as 10 minutes and as long as its needed, depends on the size of family, how busy the day is for immigration, which airport, things like that.

good luck and welcome to canada, your future home and land of opportunities :)
be prepared for the snow and cold winter in alberta :p

hi joycece,

immigrant visa and confirmation of permanent residence will usually be valid for 12 months from the date you completed your medical exam unless your passport expires in less then 12 months then it will be issued to the date of passport expiry.
