Hi,

After my graduation, I applied for work permit while I was a on extended student VISA. Is that okay if I describe my "status in country" during that period of time as:

"Applied for work permit,worker"

This is for background/declaration form for PR application.

Thanks in advance!

Did you already get your Work permit? If not then you are still a Student. The Status will be a Temporary Resident- Student. If you get your Work permit then you will be Temporary Resident- Worker Status
