very urgent, guys, help!!!

So I got ITA on Jan 13 2016 and AOR on Jan 20 2016. Today my BOWP application got rejected and the reason is you have failed to meet the eligibility requirements for bridging open work permit because positive eligibility assessment on your APR is not passed yet.

Can anyone tell me why? and what is R 10? Can I apply to restore to argue to get a BOWP??

When did you submit your BOWP? Before or after your got ITA?

2015 Oct: i submitted work permit extension application;
Nov: my 3-yr post graduation work permit officially expired;
2016 Jan: ITA and AOR, no LMIA, no PNP;
2016 Feb 1: my BOWP got rejected, on the rejection letter, it says: you have failed to meet the eligibility requirements for bridging open work permit because positive eligibility assessment on your APR is not passed yet.

so i am highly confused, which is the reason they rejected me:
1) when I applied, i was not invited by EE yet?
2) the officer did not know that i am currently invited?? ---- i did not add the fact that i am invited by EE on my submitted BOWP; and the department work on BOWP application has no access to see I am invited by EE
3) the BOWP officer did see that I got invited however I havent passed yet, what they might refer to as R10, so they decided to reject me?

Does anyone know?? In my case, is it possible to restore my BOWP back??? I am soo sad as I really wish to get to work soon!!!!! Before i officially get PR.

thanks!!!!!! Please offer your advice

Hi R10 is the first check after you submit your PR application... it takes some time and after that they are supposed to send AOR on that basis you can apply for BOWP. The pdf which we get just after application submission can not be used for BOWP. for more details please refer below link:

Hit +1 if you like my suggestion ....

it was rejected because you haven't passed the eligibility stage yet. that typically takes a month after submission, when the people processing your BOWP application checked your PR application, it hadn't yet passed eligibility and therefore you got rejected.
since your permits expired, you cannot apply for another BOWP, you need to stop work immediately and apply for a visitor visa to stay in Canada until you get your PR.

I'm curious
Let's make it simple.

Extending work permit and Bridging open work permit are 2 different applications.
You applied for extension in Oct 2015?

Your permit expired in November.

You Received ITA in Jan and applied for PR.
This is where you missed it. You should have applied another application for Bridging. (You were still on implied status because you did not receive any response from CIC for your extension application)

My case
I didn't receive a 3 year work permit I only got it for 2.5 years. I applied for an extension to get the remainder of work permit.

My permit is expiring in 5 days. I'm not taking chances so I called CIC and the lady advised me to apply online BOWP. I told her that I have already sent an application for extension for remainder work permit. Then she stated that Extension and Bridging are two different applications.

You should apply for restoration of your status. Good luck
