How to correct the data in CIC file?

Hi there, I found that my data in CIC file was changed, the record show my spouse has "NO RELATIONSHIP" WITH ME AS MY FAMILY MEMBER. ??????

1. who changed it?
2. why she/he changed it?
3. who has the responsibility for that kind of changed?
4. Do they have evidence?
5. what kind of evidence will make CIC change my file without consideration or asking me?

6. HOW TO DO THE CORRECTION, PLEASE!

How did you find out that your info was changed? Do you mean it was changed on the forms???

Wow...that's weird...I'd be on the horn to CIC to find out how to get this sorted.

We dated from 2007. we married in 2011 Jan.. I did not update my marriage status to CIC, but sponsorship was submitted in Feb.. The question is the words show "No RELATIONSHIP" as a family member file.

So you were married in Jan 2011, submitted the app in Feb 2011, but what does 'I did not update my marriage status to CIC' mean?

You sent the application a month after being married but when you sent it, you didn't put down you were married? Sorry, but I'm confused. From what you have posted, it would seem that when you submitted the app you did not put down spousal sponsorship...no?

Why would you need to update you marital status with CIC? I mean, the only agency I can think of that would require an update would be CRA (Canada Revenue Agency). But even if you didn't do that yet, it's not a problem, as this can be done when you and your spouse land in Canada.

Please clarify.

1. I did not submit an individual document to update my CIC file. But I am not sure if I need to do that too.

2. Spouse sponsorship is spouse sponsorship, we filled form correctly. Nothing wrong with the CPC file. We are spouse.

But why would you need to fill out a separate form to update CIC that you are married? That's the part I don't understand. I've never heard of this before and there is no mention in any of the CIC immigration forms / checklists.

You're confusing me. As a citizen of Canada, until sponsoring my wife for permanent residence, I have never had to deal with CIC.

Were you approved to sponsor your spouse? Which VO? Please, you need to clarify, otherwise I have no idea how to help you.

The only thing I can think of is that the VO decided that your relationship is not genuine, and that's why you have the "No Relationship" in your file.

Sorry, I have to intention to confuse you. no VO involved in my file. No VO added this info. in my file. No words says so. I am asking help to correct the wrong data in my file. . The VO told me to get my file first. But I did not listen to her, my file was pending a very long time. ...

If ex-wife wrote a letter or made a phone call to CIC, would someone change my data according to her made up?
