Hi Everyone,

I am looking for any suggestion regarding our situation.
I am in Canada with a Working Holiday Visa, my partner and I applied for common law-outside canada- which we were granted last week, but didn't received the papers until yesterday. We applied to the embassy in Colombia and they returned the papers to my home address in Colombia. I am in Canada at the moment. We need to send the papers (COPR and passport) through mail courrier from COL to Toronto. After they arrive, should I leave and reenter Canada (ex.NYC or buffalo), should I just go to POE in Niagara falls? or should we make an appointment. The visa expires in one 3 weeks and 5 days from today, given that the papers would arrive in one week or so. What is the best option?
Also what are some of the standard questions officers will make to you at the entry?

You can call CIC and request a landing interview in Toronto ( Etobicoke ) , they will ask you about your address , if you still together with your sponsor , any dependents and any criminality . more or less .

you can go to Niagara and land at the land border crossing . You can just turn up , don't go on a busy weekend, unless you are willing to wait for a bit .. . Just drive across i would suggest Queenston Elizabeth which is the far end by Niagara on the lake side because its much quieter. Tell the US officer you want to flag pole . They will re direct you to a parking space and give you a yellow ticket to give to the CBSA agent . Cross back over into Canada pay the toll fee and then go into the cbsa office. That's where you will land . Take your corp , and passport . You sponsor doesn't have to be with you as you are a Outland applicant .

Good luck !

Thanks guys!!!

My papers are on their way to Toronto , hopefully this week I will be able to flagpole!
