How to check the status of my application? or expected time line?

I want to check status of my application and all I have the is the reference number that came in the email requesting for document that starts with "B".

Where do I check ? or which month applications are they processing currently at Buffalo?

Submitted Documents to Buffalo Office : September, 17th - 2010
Stage: Waiting for second AOR after submitting documents.



FYI: I have already tried https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en and have selected Identification file number from the first dropdown however the record doesn't come up...am I missing something?

what message you got when you tried to check your ecas? I think you have to select Immigration File Number from the dropdown list.

Hi/AOA,

please enter data accordingly,

Identification Type---> Immigration File Number

Identification Number---> B0123456789 without any space

Surname/Family Name ----> The name given in your documents suppose if your name is John Smith, then you will enter SMITH, and if your name is only John then JOHN

Date of Birth as given in documents

And place of birth, like Pakistan, Inadia, UK etc select from list

all details regarding your file will be appeared, further you can press In Process button to check further.
