How to check if TRV application recieved by immigration?

i want to ask how can I check my TRV application online. I tried to check client application status in CIC canada immigration, application type is asked and identification no. i don't know where to find that number asked and what type of application should i check since no TRV reflected there, i only have my air21 way bill receipt and nothing more. Is that online checking applicable for 1st time TRV applicant. Clarification Please....Thanks

Hi there,

Hope you doing fine. About checking your TRV application status, Call Immigration offices it depends on which country you came from.Make sure you have your Tracking Number from air21...

And , NO you cant check it through CIC immigration,..You can, if you applied one of this application listed:

sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (initial, replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
applied to resume Canadian citizenship.
