I lived in Canada from 1988-1991, I applied for refugee status but my application was denied. I left Canada and entered the USA in May of 1991 since then I've became a US Citizen. I've visited Canada 3 times over the years, on my most recent visit in August 2012 which was my 4th visit, I was denied entry and given an offical deportation letter. The reason for this is because when I left in 1991 I did not inform the Canadian Immigration. I was told that I have to apply to CIC in NY for this condition to be changed so I can re-enter Canada as a visitor.

What is the process, form, fees involved and approximate time in getting this corrected? Thank you.

Hope this helps at least somewhat.
