How to change address on line after 6 months of landing?

Now that it has been more than 6 months of landing, logging into ecas doesnt show my record any more.

I need to update my address. How can I do that myself online?

I dont want to call the agent as they will write wrong address on file and my pr card will be delivered to wrong address

1. That is the only choice you have. I find it strange that if you have been "landed" for 6 months, that you haven't received your PR card.

but what if I am outside Canada?
If I turn up at my local CIC office serving outside Canada, and tell them I want to change my address, will that cause problems with my pr card delivery?

I don't think CIC will mail a PR card to an address outside Canada.
 
Hi,

I have the same issue, I can't access my records online and want to change the address. I have not recieved the PR card yet. Can you confirm the altermate way of changing address?
 
There's already a process in place for this which worked for me. Go to Case Specific Enquiry form on website, and the dropdown list for request type includes "Change of address". Easy!
PS: they will NOT send any confirmation back.
