There are few options depending how much extra stuff you have:

1) most airlines charged for one extra baggage ranging from £40 to £70.
2) If you have stuff more than one extra bag then shipping your extra baggage is the best option as its cheap.
3) one more thing you can do is that you can upgrade your ticket , some of the airlines gives you 2 bag options on other classes.

Try checking different airlines. May be most middle east airlines (Etihad/Qatar) have a better weight policy.

Ramanbeedh I recently checked that British Airways flight from New Delhi - London - Toronto allows 2 23kg bags + 8kg Hand bag... Which I was very confused about earlier because in 23kg baggage the bag weight is 7kg approx rest we are left with 16kg only, so then I went to the travel agency to be very sure about it & got to know that it's (2) 23kg bags....

Regards

As others have said, pay more, or better still - carry less.

What are you packing that weighs this much?
