Hi

I am pretty sure about the family size except this line.

2.Count:

•the number of persons you are now sponsoring and
•all family members of that person, whether or not they are accompanying.

I am sponsoring my parents alongwith two brothers that will be accompnaying him. I have 4 other siblings but they woudn't be
accompanying him
. Should I count them too or not.

This is critical for me so that I make sure that I satisfy the minimum income reauirement to sponsor.

Regards and Thanks

with respect to the siblings that are not accompanying, you will only have to count them if they fall in the category of dependant children under CIC definition ie. are under 22, single ... etc.

If the 4 siblings are over 22, than you would not count them. In this case if you are not married and have no childred of your own, you count, yourself (1), parents (2), brothers (2) so your total count is 5.

You will be able to send in your parents application in January 2015. So whether or not your brothers qualify as dependents, will depend on their ages as of Jan 2015.

You won't be able to submit the parent sponsorship this year as the 5000 cap has been reached already. So you have no choice but to apply in Jan 15. So come next year, as RobTO mentioned, you will have to reconsider your 2 siblings' age again before submitting.

Also should be noted that there were steps in place by CIC to reduce the age of dependents to under 19 years old. This new rule hasn't been put into force yet so as of today the age is still under 22, but it could happen at any time during this year.

Rob_TO raised a good point. The new age requirement under 19 years of age to be dependents of parents haven't come into effect yet. It was suppose to come into effect this year but that rule change hasn't been implemented yet. Anyway the point is that since you would have to wait until Jan 2015 to apply for parent sponsorship, whatever the rules are made at that time will have to be followed, including the new age dependent qualification requirements if implemented at the time.
