How to apply for a valid US visa after landing in Canada

I have a quick question. After landing in Canada, I would like to come back to the US. What kind of visa should I apply for? What documents should I prepare for the visa application? I'm not a H1-B holder. Thank you!

If your currents US residential status is not permitting you to enter US without obtaining a visa, I think you could have a problem for a entry after an exit from US for landing in Canada. Please see other expert opinions too in this matter.

Thanks for the response! I'm now on my OPT. My current visa type is F1. But I already graduated and don't want to extend my student status. I'm thinking I need a vistor visa to come back to US, but not sure if I can apply for it without a maple leaf card. I heard that it takes a while to get the maple card after landing. So, if you guys have any idea about my situation, please advise. Thank you!

still not cleared but its ok , I suggest you first enter into Canada , get PR Card, and apply go for tourist visa for USA, if you need to visit.
