How to apply 10 Years Multi-entry Visa?

Hi, one of my friend told he already applied for 10 years multi-entry Visa(Not super Visa), each stay is only up to half year, and they don't need do medical and purchase insurance.

Has any one here apply this visa? Should I attach a cover letter in my application to notify officer that I am apply 10 years visa not super visa? Thanks.

Since they are two different applications, and you don't appear to be a parent, it is a moot point.
