Hey guys wondering if you can help me out. My girlfriend has been accepted to a school in Canada, she was accepted to study at the school, and has a student loan to cover full year of tuition and have some left over as well. Her study permit has also been accepted. What I cant find an answer to is if she will be living with me and my parents and they are funding everything she need, does she need the extra 10k to show living expenses if shes not paying rent, hydro, food etc.? Can I somehow show them that my rents have the finances to cover her living expenses? Also if her classes start late august can she come down sooner to have a job lined up and ready to go for when school starts and be able to adjust and get comfortable before school? Thank you for the help!

Living expenses is part of the requirement for Proof of means of financial support. She should have passed a notarized letter from your parents that they'll be shouldering the place to stay and living expenses, also attached some proof of financial support showing they can support her living expenses. Anyway...since the study permit has already been issued, get a letter just in case the border officer asks. And yes. She can come earlier to get a job. :)
